Jay was born and raised in the worm digging capital of the world, where two rivers meet. He once painted every fire hydrant in the City of Burlington, and was later paid to write blog posts while living abroad as an English Teacher in South Korea. These days he doubles as a radio DJ and occasional Electronic Music Director at WRUV FM Burlington.
Jay moved to Vermont in 2003 to attend Champlain College where he received his BS in Graphic Design. He met his now business partner Peter Jewett while fulfilling an internship requirement at Pete’s eBay store, and the two later worked together as SEO Analysts for Dealer.com. Friendship turned into a business partnership in 2012 when the two officially joined forces and moved into Jay’s garage in the Old North End of Burlington, VT. What used to be called Dave’s Engine Repair became global headquarters for Burlington Bytes.
Jason lives with his beautiful wife and son, off a dirt road somewhere in the woods.
