The Challenge
Arts for Learning Connecticut wanted an overhaul of their current FastSpring website to improve presentation and experience for users, as well as to simplify the editing process for website admins. This new website also had to be easily navigable for school administrators, parents, donors, and collaborators, so that Arts for Learning Connecticut’s mission could be clearly understood by all users.
Our Approach
We first re-platformed Arts for Learning Connecticut’s old FastSpring website to WordPress, and then built out the new website with a front-end theme designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. The site provides purposeful redundancy to make it easy to navigate and helps users bucket themselves based on need. We also worked with a third-party vendor, Soapbox Engage, to create their program and artist directory, which integrates directly with their Salesforce account.
